Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them with a warm and inviting demeanor. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer service by providing a positive and memorable experience for all patrons.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Strong customer service skills, with a friendly, approachable, and accommodating attitude.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle check-ins, reservations, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, even during peak hours or challenging situations.
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival, maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout their visit.
- Assist guests in making reservations and manage wait-lists effectively, ensuring optimal table turnover.
- Escort guests to their designated tables and provide them with menus, making recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Accommodate special requests or seating preferences, taking note of guest preferences for future reference.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Process payments accurately and provide guests with a pleasant departure experience.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the front-of-house area.
- Stay informed about the restaurant's promotions, specials, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as necessary.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is an asset.
- Knowledge of reservation management systems and point-of-sale systems is desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
